"Crossroads" a group show featuring art by the Avivo Artist Collective, acknowledges the hardships of the last year and a half while also celebrating unexpected moments of connection and looking forward to the future.

About the Event
Hennepin Theatre Trust (HTT) invited Avivo Artist Collective members to submit 2 pieces of art each for this exhibit that we feel relates to our experiences from the last 1 1/2 years of events ranging from COVID to the social unrest present in Minneapolis. All the original art is in the gallery and then one piece of artwork from each artist was enlarged, printed on paper and hung in the building windows at City Place Lofts sidewalk gallery along 8th Street and Hennepin Avenue.
HTT drives cultural and economic vitality in Minnesota through leadership of the dynamic Hennepin Theatre District in downtown Minneapolis and educational programming that reaches every area of the state.
The Trust transforms the places and spaces that make the Theatre District a vibrant, welcoming place for all to enjoy.
"Outside our theatres, we connect people to unexpected arts and cultural experiences, such as the iconic Bob Dylan mural, large-scale banners, art in underused spaces and live arts and cultural events. Our free programming, created with key partners, benefits youth and adults experiencing homelessness in the Theatre District. Our public art program is the largest in the Midwest."
